The Lakes at Techridge is a multi-phase project located just 15 minutes north of Austin’s downtown central business district. Owned by Ledcor Development and real estate investment partner Qualico, the 179,000 square foot development achieved a LEED® silver rating through its highly efficient heating and cooling systems, sustainable construction, and other energy-efficient elements.
Designed by Austin-based STG Design and LUCE Architects, the building features a long rectangular glazed glass structure, enveloped by a delicate screen to temper the effects of the mid-day sun.
The Techridge area itself offers old-world charm through its historic architecture, while still maintaining a feel of elegance and comfort. In addition to the office buildings, there are over 1,200 apartment units, retail stores, a jogging trail, dog park and easy access to Lake Naomi.
